History:
The Mechatronics Engineering master’s program admitted its first cohort in Fall 2011.
Degree Awarded:
Upon successful completion of 120 ECTS credits, graduates receive an M.Sc. in Mechatronics Engineering.
Admission Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
Sufficient score on the national ALES exam (graduate entrance exam)
Proof of foreign-language proficiency (YDS or equivalent)
Progression to Doctoral Studies:
Master’s graduates who meet the minimum GPA and language requirements may apply to the Ph.D. program.
Graduation Requirements:
Completion of 120 ECTS credits of graduate coursework
Completion and defense of a master’s thesis under a faculty advisor

History:
The Ph.D. program in Mechatronics Engineering admitted its first cohort in Fall 2015.
Degree Awarded:
Graduates are awarded the title “Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechatronics Engineering.”
Admission Requirements:
Master’s degree (thesis track) in a relevant field
Minimum ALES score of 55 in the appropriate test category
Minimum YDS (or equivalent) score as set by the university
Master’s GPA of at least 75/100
Successful performance on a written and oral scientific evaluation
Post-doctoral Career Paths:
Ph.D. holders may pursue research and teaching positions in universities, research institutes, advanced manufacturing, and high-tech industries.
